La Coruña is a city located on one of the westernmost tips of Europe, along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Despite its modest size, the city offers a wide range of activities and features typical of Galician culture that often escape those who visit or move to this city, often referred to as the "Pearl of the Atlantic."

Main goal

The main goal was to create a central point for all the information needed to fully enjoy the city. The biggest challenge was addressing various topics, such as finding a home, getting to know the neighborhoods, seeking employment, making new friends, and understanding the legal and bureaucratic aspects for foreigners.

Design choice

The city exudes a variety of values with an energetic and distinctive atmosphere. Each color used has its own personality, reflecting the multiple activities offered by La Coruña. The aim is to convey explosive energy, rich in contrasts and dynamism. The font, characterized by soft curves, communicates positivity and tranquility, accompanied by a sans-serif font to ensure text readability without compromising the softness of the shapes.

Activities and Events

The main challenge was to gather a wide range of events in a single platform. Thanks to artificial intelligence, it was possible to identify activities of all kinds and present them to users intuitively through simple information cards with key details about the events.

Each topic was associated with a vibrant color, contrasting with the others, for a clear and distinctive categorization. This choice enhances the presentation of content and user experience, facilitating navigation and identification of different sections of the site.

UX Strategy

The research to improve the user experience was driven by the need to cater to an extremely diverse audience from around the world, with particular attention to users who do not speak Spanish, focusing on countries like Russia, Italy, and Germany. The user experience strategy is based on creating inclusive navigation and accessible information for anyone wishing to explore and fully experience the city of La Coruña, regardless of their origin or language.
